Movie Time - The Rite

Rite - is an established ceremonious act. Autonomous particular church within Roman Catholic Church.

The Rite:

An American seminary student who attends exorcism school at the Vatican finds faith through encounters with demonic forces.

Critics:

* "There’s truly a satanic force at work in the logy exorcism thriller The Rite, and it goes by the name of Anthony Hopkins." Boston Globe-Ty Burr

* "By the end, The Rite goes wrong in every way." - Rolling Stone-Peter Travers

* "There are some interesting ideas and themes in The Rite; unfortunately, an uneven tone and a disappointingly generic climax dilute them." - Reelviews-James Berardinelli

Je-Noy:

* Fu@#!. I suspect most reviewers will tell you to stay away from The Rite, but if you’re interested in horror or the lingering guilt associated with religion, this film is worth your money. There are half a dozen or so scenes that I can’t shake out of my head. What’s better: a mediocre movie that never tries enough to leave an impression or an inconsistent one that ebbs and flows between very good and below average? Watch Antony Hopkins explain to you what Satan does to his children when he’s bored and then get back to me. 4 out 5 stars!
